Wyoming Swordfish

Hey guys! My name is Will Spera, I am super excited to be the head coach and the age group coach for 13-14 and 15-18s this year. I am going into my sophomore year at Ohio State where I study Mechanical Engineering. I’ve been swimming and diving on the swordfish since I was 6, and swam all 4 years of high school where I made it to the State Championship two times. This will be my fourth year coaching for the Swordfish and my third year as a dive coach, and I am so excited to see everyone in the pool!

Hello everyone! I am extremely excited to be a head coach for the dive team this year! This fall will be my sophomore year at The Ohio State University studying philosophy politics and economics. This opportunity means a lot to me as I have been on the dive team every year since 8 and under’s. I have been very fortunate in having some amazing dive coaches so I hope to be able to do the same! This is my second year coaching for the swordfish, extremely excited for the season!

Amelia is back for another year of exciting dives. She has grown up in Wyoming and has been on the Wyoming Swim Club dive for 8 years,  high school swim team for 2 years,  club dive for 6 months, and has been swimming on the PCY Tigershark swim team year round for close to 10 years.

Hey! My name is Kayla Fent and I will be coaching the 11-12 age group. This fall I will be entering my freshman year at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Architecture. I have been a swimmer for Wyoming High School- making it to State, club (PCY-Tigersharks) and summer swim teams since I was 6 years old. I spend most of my summers practicing, lifeguarding, and hanging out with friends at the pool. I'm looking forward to another successful, and most importantly fun swim season. I am a rising senior at Wyoming High School and thrilled to be back for my second year coaching the 9-10 age group! I have been swimming competitively for twelve years and have been a proud member of the Wyoming Swim Club for the past eight. My experience includes competing at the High School State Championships for the past three years. I have also achieved multiple national level USA Swimming cuts. Additionally, I hold records in the 100 backstroke and various relays at both the swim club and Wyoming High school. I absolutely loved coaching last season and can’t wait to see my swimmers this year!

Hi! I'm Zel. This is my fourth year coaching here at the Wyoming Swim Club. I love working with kids and can’t wait for an awesome year of Swordfish! In addition to swimming, I play waterpolo, run a crochet business, and sing! Go Swordfish!

My name is Anne Jolly! I am 17 years old and will be a senior at Wyoming high school next year. I will be the junior swordfish coach this season! This is my 4th year coaching, but I have been swimming for about 11 years? (I've lost count at this point lol) You may also see me on the pool deck this summer life guarding or teaching swim lessons! I am so excited for the season and I can’t wait to meet you all!
