WOW!  What a fantastic meet!  Our THIRD convincing win for the season was packed with fantastic dives, time drops, great grill food, and hopefully lots of fun!  Thank You to all who wrangled, timed, announced, scored, officiated, labelled, made food, and everything else that made the meet a success. On to next week's events...

Tues: 13+ Kayak with the Coaches (rescheduled from Sunday).  

13 and older kayak trip with the swim & dive coaches starts 2 pm at Loveland Canoe and Kayak.  Check the calendar event for info on reserving your spot and RSVP for carpool.

Wed: Team Photos starting at 9:00

Arrive at 9:00 for individual/sibling pics. We will start arranging for the all team photo at 9:20.  Wear your team suit if you have one; run a brush through your kid's hair if you can (I usually can't by this time of summer). Order forms will be available at practice Tuesday morning as well as Wednesday.

Thurs: Home Meet Against Mt. Lookout - Senior Meet

Help us celebrate our Senior Swordfish as they wrap up their PPSL careers. Theme is Red, White, and Blue.  Swimmer sign ups due by 8am Wed. This is our last home meet for the year, and a fun send off tradition for the seniors, so let's GO BIG!

Looking Ahead to PPSL Championships

The PPSL season wraps up with two different league meets: the East/West Championships (formerly 'B' Finals) and the PPSL Finals (formerly 'A' Finals).

• Your child will swim/dive in either the West Championships or PPSL Finals, but not both.
• West Championships is run like a dual meet with the other PPSL teams from this side of I-75.  It's a fun meet, focused on kids getting to see all their hard work pay off.  
• PPSL Finals is a team competition meet with team scoring for swim and dive.  The dive meet is split across two days by age groups.  The swim meet has a prelims session with top 16 swimmers advancing to a second finals session.
• Times have not been published, but coming soon. Sessions for PPSL Finals run during the morning and afternoon; so you may want to check your calendars now.  Dates and locations are:
  • July 10th, West Dive Champs @ Delhi Swim Club
  • July 12th, West Swim Champs @ Orchard Hills Swim Club
  • July 13th & 14th, PPSL Swim Finals @ Mason High School
  • July 15th & 16th, PPSL Dive Finals @ Madeira Swim Club
