HELLO again!!

Rubber duck regatta: The swim club will be conducting its first annual rubber duck regatta to raise money for the swim club! So mark your calendar for Saturday Aug 24th from 5-9 for this very cool fundraiser.  Also--the club is looking for swimmers and divers to sell ducks, please see below for info, including prizes for the top swordfish sellers!

Want to continue swimming and diving during the school year? 
Swimmers, there are several clubs in town that offer swim experiences ranging from stroke development (with only a couple month commitment) to elite performance with year-round commitments.  Two strong programs in the area include the Powel Crosley Tigersharks and the Cincinnati Marlins.  I'm attaching fliers for both programs.
Divers, in addition to considering diving in middle school or high school, Rebekah recommended checking out OHK diving at ohkdiving.com

Finally!  I still have a handful of trophies and awards from the banquet. I'll work to distribute these this week.

We NEED your help to make the RUBBER DUCK REGATTA a super successful and FUN FUNdraiser for the Wyoming Swim Club!

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE EVENT: RUBBER DUCK REGATTA is Saturday, August 24, 5-9 p.m. Help us reach our goal to sell 1,000 ducks - and keep Wyoming Swim Club a-floatin' for years! Call your grandparents, ask your neighbors, and tell your friends - because ducks are only $5 each!
PRIZES:
1st prize: $500 off your WSC 2025 membership!
2nd prize: Pizza Party for 15 guests on the deck in 2025!
3rd prize: $25 Candy and Snack Bar Basket

*Also pool games and prizes (duck pond, diving for prizes, and a parents vs. kids cannonball contest)
*Grill open with kids meal deal
* Free admittance for guests!

FYI: HOW IT WORKS: Use the attached sheet to sell your ducks for $5 each. You can collect cash, check, or Venmo to Teresa-Le-19. You ONLY have to collect a name, phone number, and payment. Ducks will be assigned to people by the organizers. Duck sheets must be turned in by August 20. It can be submitted by photo text or email (or in person) to the Le family: 513-200-6590 or [email protected]. Each swimmer and diver is encouraged to sell at least 10 ducks.

If we can sell 1000 ducks, that is $5000 for the swim club!
WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
The Swordfish who sells the MOST ducks - WINS $50 CASH!
2nd most ducks sold WINS a $25 Candy Basket!
(So make sure your name is on the Duck sheet if you want to be in the competition for most ducks sold.)
